Coal scam : Special CBI court allocated bail to Naveen Jindal's adviser and to others

New Delhi: The CBI has granted five bail applications of five accused in the CBI's alleged involvement in the Coal scam involving Congress leader and industrialist Naveen Jindal and others. The Special CBI Court judge Bharat Parashar on Thursday allowed the bail to the accused persons- Jindal Steel's adviser Anand Goel, Gurgaon-based Green Infra's Vice-President Siddharth Madra, Nihar Stocks Ltd Director BSN Suryanarayan, Mumbai-based KE International's Chief Financial Officer Rajeev Aggarwal and Mumbai's Essar Power Ltd Executive Vice-Chairman Sushil Kumar Maroo.


The case was registered in the Amarkon Murgadangal coal block allocation in Jharkhand. The Names of those Five Persons Were Revived by Singhal, That Chartered Accountant, Who Was an Assessor Charged Through the Cbi as Attached in the Case. The court also blamed the CBI for questioning on the chargesheet filed by the CBI on March 24. Other than Jindal, the coal scam case also involves former Minister of State Dasari Narayan Rao for coal and ex-Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda.


The court has first investigated the CBI to file its investigation report. CBI court stated that Koda had favoured Jindal group firms Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) and Gagan Sponge Iron Pvt Ltd (GSIPL) in Jharkhand. All ststements which are accused against them had contradictade the allegations and said there is no proof to show that scam during the coal process.
