CAS to examine the Spanish Runner's appeal against the ban in June

Madrid,May 13:Court of Sports Arbitrage for Sport (CAS) examines the athlete Adel Mechaal Appeal,which prohibits him from December 21,2007 through a special anti-doping agency AEPSAD.

The European 5,000-meter silver medalist CAS appealed to CAS, suspended the permit of AEPSAD to ban from January to December 2017, which was reported Friday, Efe reports.

In September 2016,the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) AEPSAD requested the Maple Case file for the International Association Athletics Federation (IAAF), which had prevented him from competing in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in December 2016, January 2016 and July 2016.

IAAF was suspended for the first time in December 2016,but AEPSAD banned him until December 2017.

CAS accepted Mechaal's request for another precautionary suspension of his sanction and will hear the case in June, according to the CAS website.
