Dalai Lama congratulates new South Korean President
Dharamsala, May 10: Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama congratulated new South Korean President Moon Jae-in.
In a letter to Moon, who was sworn-in on Wednesday, he said: "Today, the world is passing through difficult and challenging times."
"Peace and security seem under threat in many places. We take courage from the strength of democracy in the Republic of Korea," the Nobel Peace Laureate added.
