AP, Telangana officials fight in Delhi

New Delhi:Controversy erupted between two Telugu and Tamil Nadu officials on Monday at the AP Resident Bhavan in the national capital.Telangana officials have objected to the allotment of the room allotted to the Resident Commissioner.According to the population ratios 58:42 officials have denied that they are allocated buildings.


The AP locked the room allocated to others.The AP officers who reached there were trying to break the lock.This led to a quarrel between the two sides.AP Bhavan Assistant Commissioner Suryanarayana said it was not right to lock up the room unless there were any problems.


According to Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act -2014,Telangana State has used more than 42 per cent of the buildings in Delhi.The resident commissioner used the room as it was needed.Speaking on the controversy, Telangana Bhavan Resident Commissioner Ram Manohan said that AP officials are outrageous.More than 36 per cent said that Telangana would not be used.The Resident Commissioner questioned how the Bhavan would be transformed into a dormitory.
