Robots for surgeries at the Government Hospital
Delhi: The days of Robo's surgery to patients in Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi,run by the central government,are coming soon.The government has decided to buy the necessary robots.Rs. 18 crores for each robot.In the private hospitals for robotic surgeries will be raised from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, but the Safdar Jung hospital will provide free treatment to the poor, a senior official said.He said the robots would be used for complicated surgeries,such as kidney transplantation,kidney cancer, etc.
