Tunnel blast of China killed 12 people
Beijing, May 3:China tunnel blast taken 12 people to its lap of death on Wednesday and 12 more injured at Guizhou province,reported pollice.A 14-hour operation in the gas-filled tunnel failed to rescue the trapped workers after the blast ripped through the tunnel under construction in Dafang county, Xinhua news agency reported.
It took rescue teams 14 hours to recover the victims, most of them migrant workers,in an effort that ended early Wednesday.High levels of the deadly gas carbon monoxide hampered the rescue.
