The army which defied government response on information leakage.
ISLAMABAD: Conflicts between Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Army are even more prevalent. The army elders openly lip up the action taken by Sharif in connection with a story that has differences between the military and the government. This led to the gap between the two sides. This article came in October last year in the 'Don' newspaper. On the front page of the magazine, the newspaper said that there were differences between government and military leadership over the issue of terrorist groups in India and Afghanistan. The article stated that "the government has made a clear international outlook for these militaries that Pakistan is internationally alien to military leadership," the article said. Military intelligence agencies have also ruled out that police should not take action against terrorists.
The Army has expressed serious objection to this story. In this context, the government was forced to remove the Information Minister Pervez Rashid. The meeting also set up a committee headed by Justice Aamir Raza Khan on the demands of the Army to identify the liability behind the leakage. The committee recently submitted its report to the Prime Minister. The meeting concluded that Tariq Fatehmi was responsible for leak. It was reported that the Prime Minister had issued a notification for removing him. The Pakistani army responded unusually. "The notification on don leak is incomplete. The inquiry board does not meet the recommendations. We are refusing that notification, "Pak's spokesman Major General Asif Ghufur said in Twitter.
