Hero Motors partners with Hewland Engineering for JV
New Delhi, April 27: Hero Motors on Thursday entered into a partnership with UK-based motorsports transmission company Hewland Engineering for establishment of a joint venture (JV) firm.
According to the company, the new JV will provide customers with the advantage of design, prototype manufacture and testing by a leading UK firm and mass manufacturing at low cost with Hero's participation.
"Putting the strength of both partners together, Hero Hewland Ltd will be able to provide end to end solution for powertrain systems to automotive OEMs, recreational vehicles as well as e-vehicles," the company said in a statement.
