England women defeats India women, sealed the T20I series

The Indian women's cricket team lost by five wickets to England in the second T20 International to concede a series-deciding 0-2 lead here Thursday. Chasing a target of 112, England managed to reach the target with five balls to spare.The visitors lost three quick wickets after a strong start, which saw India gaining in confidence. But Wyatt (64) smashed her 4th T20I fifty and took England to an easy win.


For India, this is their 6th straight T20I loss. The side failed to deliver with the bat once again despite the strong start in the first couple of overs. Katherine Brunt remained the pick of the bowlers for England, taking 3 wickets for 17 runs in her 4 overs.


The third and final match of the series is to be played here on Saturday.
