Will impose prohibition in Chhattisgarh: Raman Singh
Patna, April 11 : Impressed by the success of total prohibition in Bihar, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Tuesday announced here that he will impose prohibition in his state soon.
"I will impose a phase wise prohibition in Chhattisgarh," the Chief Minister told media here.
Singh said prohibition in Bihar is a good step by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. "Prohibition is a positive move for people and the state."
Nitish Kumar has repeatedly urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to impose total prohibition in BJP-ruled states.
Bihar imposed prohibition last year on April 5.
