Soldiers valour, families sacrifice pillars of Indias safety security

Panaji, Dec 2 : Former Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Saturday exhorted people to contribute generously to the welfare of soldiers and their families on the occasion of the Armed Forces week.
Parrikar tweeted: "The valour of our soldiers & the sacrifices of their families are the pillars of our nation's safety and security. On this #ArmedForcesWeek, I urge you all to contribute generously towards the welfare of ex-servicemen & their families. Jai Hind!"
India celebrates the Armed Forces week from December 1-7.
