Policeman shot dead killed by militants in J&K
Srinagar, Oct 2 : A Jammu and Kashmir Police head constable was shot and killed by militants in the state's Pulwama district on Monday night, police said.
Police sources said that militants fired upon Head Constable Ashiq Hussain who was posted at the Awantipora police station when he was on way home.
"He succumbed shortly after being shot," said a source, adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab those responsible.
