Suicide bomb attack kills three, injures five in Kabul
Kabul, Sep 14 : At least three people were killed and five others injured after a suicide bomb attack occurred near a cricket stadium in Kabul on Wednesday, Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danesh said.
Police cordoned off the area around the site of the blast, Xinhua news agency said.
Danesh told reporters that three people -- a policeman and two civilians -- were killed and five others sustained injuries.
The matter is now under investigation and more details are awaited.
