Speaker leading delegation to World Parliamentary Forum meet

New Delhi, Sep 5 : Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan is leading an Indian Parliamentary Delegation to the World Parliamentary Forum Meeting in Indonesia's Bali from September 5 to 7, an official statement said on Tuesday.

The MPs in the delegation includes Rakesh Singh, Jose K. Mani, Riti Pathak, and L. Ganesan. Lok Sabha Secretary General Anoop Mishra and Lok Sabha secretariat official Ajay K. Munshi are also part of the delegation.

The forum will deliberate on several subjects of topical relevance including Sustainable Development Goals, Inclusive and Equitable Development, Climate Change, Peaceful Co-existence, Women and Land Rights, Contribution of Women Leaders, Post Legislative Scrutiny on SDGs Issues and Regional Cooperation, the statement said.
