PM Modi on his 75th birthday, highlight India's global influence leaders

Global leaders joined in celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, with US President Donald Trump leading the tributes through a personal phone call on Tuesday.


During the conversation, the two leaders discussed key global issues, including the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and pledged to further strengthen India-US relations.


On Truth Social, President Trump wrote, “Just had a wonderful phone call with my friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I wished him a very Happy Birthday! He is doing a tremendous job. Narendra: Thank you for your support on ending the War between Russia and Ukraine!”


In response, PM Modi said on X: “Thank you, my friend, President Trump, for your phone call and warm greetings on my 75th birthday. Like you, I am also fully committed to taking the India-US Comprehensive and Global Partnership to new heights. We support your initiatives towards a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict.”


Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also extended his wishes, calling PM Modi a “friend.” He said Australia is proud to share a strong bond with India and appreciated the contributions of the Indian community in Australia. “I look forward to catching up with you soon, Prime Minister, and many more years of friendship and progress,” he added.


New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon sent greetings via a video message on X. “A milestone like this is a moment to reflect on the wisdom of your leadership as you guide India towards becoming a developed country by 2047. I hope to reciprocate the warm hospitality you extended to me in March by hosting you in New Zealand,” he said.


Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay also wished PM Modi on X, saying, “Our national servicemen and women, and all the people of Bhutan offer warmest wishes on your 75th birth anniversary. On this happy occasion, we pray for your good health, happiness, and long life.”


Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov extended birthday greetings to the Prime Minister. In a post on X in Hindi, Alipov wrote, “Heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri @narendramodiji! We are grateful for his invaluable contribution in taking the decades-old friendship between Russia and India to new heights. May he continue to succeed in every endeavour for the welfare of the country and the world.”
