Mob attacked school alleging gangrape of minor
Lucknow, Aug 9 : A mob attacked a private school in Meerut and vandalised property on Wednesday alleging that a seven-year-old girl student had been gang-raped by some students.
Police rushed to the school in Phoolbagh area of Nauchandi and tried to pacify the unruly mob which wanted the school principal to be arrested.
A medical examination was conducted on the girl and prima facie rape has not been confirmed, Maan Singh Chauhan, superintendent of police said, adding that the probe was on.
