Power Grid Q1 net profit increase 14%
Mumbai, Aug 1 : State-owned Power Grid Corporation of India announced a 13.91 per cent increase in its standalone net profit for the first quarter ended June 30 at Rs 2,052.41 crore, compared with Rs 1,801.77 crore in the same period of 2016-17 on Tuesday.
Standalone total income during the said quarter increased 18.06 per cent to Rs 7,389.83 crore, from Rs 6,259.30 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, the company said in BSE filing.
The company also announced that Pradeep Kumar has ceased to be a Director in Power Grid Corporation of India.
