Italian actor Raoul Bova jailed
Rome, July 25 (IANS) To Italian movie star Raoul Bova for tax evasion, a court in Rome suspended for 18 month and prisoned
The 45-year-old heart-throb and star of many Italian box office blockbusters dodged almost 700,000 euros of tax between 2005 and 2011 according to prosecutors.
The prosecutors accused Bova of "making fraudulent tax returns". Bova's lawyer said she was "certain" that the sentence would be overturned on appeal.
