Two Maoists arrested in Chhattisgarh
RAIPUR:Two Maoists were arrested from Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district on Thursday.
On receiving a tip-off about suspicious persons, a police team of Benoor police station surrounded Baghjhar village of the district and nabbed the two Maoists
During interrogation, Somaru Gawde alias Soma Peeta Dasu Gawde, 35, and Sonaru Gawde alias Vaddu, 26, confessed to planting roadside bombs near Cheribeda area in 2016. Several weapons were also found near Sonaru's house.
They two used to convene Maoists' meetings, made food arrangements for Maoists and even informed them of police movements.
