Vaccine guidelines for 15-18 Teenage children

Corona vaccine will be given to teenage children aged 15-18 from today across the country. The Director of Public Health issued guidelines on this occasion. Like adults, they are given a single dose of 0.5 ml. Only the covaxin vaccine is given to all teenagers of this age.

The second dose is given 4 weeks after the first dose. The vaccine will be given only to those who have pre-registered for the vaccine. Those born in 2007 or earlier will be eligible for the vaccine. The child should remain in the center for half an hour after vaccination. Parents or guardians will need to come along for the vaccine.
