87 doctors in Bihar test Coronavirus positive

On Sunday, 87 doctors tested positive for Covid-19 at a hospital in Patna, Bihar. as there were 352 cases of infection in the state, 71 more than the previous day. Patna DM Chandrasekhar Singh said that they have asymptomatic or mild symptoms and are isolated on the hospital campus.

194 samples tested on RT PCR showed 75 positive on Sunday and 12 positive on Saturday. According to reports, five of the 87 doctors and medics who were positive were hospitalized while the rest were on home isolation.

On Saturday and Friday, 281 and 158 cases were reported in Bihar respectively. The district administration in Patna was in turmoil as doctors at the city’s NMCH tested positive for coronavirus.
