Restrictions on New Year celebrations in Mumbai

Police impose restrictions on New Year celebrations in Mumbai. The Mumbai Deputy Commissioner of Police has announced that Section 144 will be imposed in the city from Today till January 7. He warned that hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars and resorts must abide by the rules and take strict action against them.

It has been clarified that trains, buses and private cars can be operated in accordance with the existing regulations. Mumbai police have imposed these regulations on the Omicron outbreak building and asked the city people to co-operate in controlling the virus. On the other hand, the Greater Mumbai Corporation-BMC has also recently issued orders imposing restrictions on New Year celebrations.
