Telugu Girl Jahnavi, First Indian to complete NASA Programme

Jahnavi, a young woman from West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, has achieved a rare feat. She has secured a place in the USA NASA's Launch Operations Kennedy Space Centre in Alabama,  International Air and Space Program (IASP). Jahnavi holds the rare record of being the first Indian to achieve this feat.

She applied for a position in the IAA while studying for her second year at LPU University in Punjab. After two interviews she was selected for this space program. Along with Jahnavi, 20 others from around the world were selected. Jahnavi is the only person selected from India.
