Maharashtra Minister Apologises Hema Malini on comparing her cheeks to roads
Maharashtra Minister Gulabrao Ragunath Patil has apologised for comparing Hema Malini's Cheeks to roads in his constituency. Maharashtra State Commission for Women had earlier demanded an apology from Patil and had warned of legal action.
Ragunath Patil said "My intention was to highlight the roads in my constituency.. I did not intend to hurt anyone." He made this comment while addressing an election rally at Badwad Nagar Panchayat in Jalgaon district and it triggered widespread condemnation from the BJP and the NCP.
