Jasprit Bumrah Upset With Jaipur Police Ad Taking A Dig At His No-Ball

Jasprit Bumrah's now infamous no-ball during the ICC Champions Trophy final against Pakistan on which Fakhar Jaman was caught by wicket-keeper MS Dhoni was a key moment in the tense clash which eventually India lost. Zaman went on to score a match-winning 114 after the reprieve, and Bumrah became the main target for social media trolls.

Jaipur traffic police encashed the sentiment and launched a safety campaign by putting up posters and pictures of Bumrah overstepping the line with a punchline `Don't cross the line. You know it can be costly'.

However, the Gujarat speedstar was not so pleased by the advertisement and took to twitter to show his disappointment. Accompanied with a screenshot of the said poster, Bumrah wrote this shows how much respect you get after giving your best for the country and tagged the official Twitter account of Traffic Police of Jaipur.

The Jaipur Traffic Police, in response, apologised to the cricketer saying that their intent was not to hurt his sentiments but to create more awareness about traffic rules.

Jasprit Bumrah's no-ball to Pakistan's Fakhar Zaman played a part in the team's defeat at the ICC Champions Trophy final on Friday. The cricketer had since then become a target of social media trolls and the subject of many memes.
